Your input stays on your device
The text you type or paste into a tool is processed on your device and is never sent to, stored on, or logged by our servers.
What reaches the network
What is my IP answers a question a browser cannot answer on its own, so it asks three servers what address your connection arrives from: this site itself, and two Cloudflare addresses that each answer over one address family only. Those requests carry no input — that page has no field to type into — and all three reach Cloudflare, which serves this site and had therefore already received your address before the page loaded, so no operator is told anything it did not already know. What comes back is shown to you and to nobody else: no address is stored, kept between visits, or shared with any other party. Every other request a tool here makes is for a file this site serves itself, asked for only once you have used the tool and carrying nothing you typed: the word tools fetch their word list, the token counter the vocabulary for the encoding you pick, and the image converter a decoder for HEIC photos, the one format it cannot open on its own. The one thing that goes anywhere else is Google’s advertising script, which every page loads where advertising is configured, as it is on the published site; the advertising it serves and the cookies that come with it are covered below.
